In 2022, Air France-KLM began a strategic transformation to align its business model with the European Union’s decarbonization objectives and its own net-zero commitment.With aviation under growing scrutiny, the Group aimed to take a leadership position on energy sobriety, intermodality, and stakeholder engagement. The goal was to redefine how value is created and measured in a low-carbon economy while preparing for CSRD and Fit-for-55 regulatory frameworks.
